Bony Macaroni and Sidekick Stick take Boringtown by storm

In this charming animated children’s television series, a little girl named Bony Macaroni finds a walking, talking stick in her grandma’s attic. Together they bring mayhem and adventure to Boringtown, but Bony Macaroni and Sidekick Stick always find their way through with their brains, pluck, and the help of good friends.

For this project, now in production, I helped with the treatment, scriptwriting, and website and promotional copy.

Horror in the NYC Subway!

One of my favorite recent projects is this horror novel set in the subway tunnels of New York. DJC Editorial worked on both the manuscript and the proposal. I won’t reveal any twists and turns of the plot, but let’s just say it’s “Them” meets your worst alligator-in-the-sewer nightmares! The writer has obtained agency representation. Stay tuned for more developments!

Remember this one?

SuperDad

Isn’t that what every little boy wants—a SuperDad who runs faster than a speeding bullet, leaps over tall buildings at a single bound, and saves the world? Or does he just want a Dad who’s super to him? I really enjoyed working on this hilarious but touching family comedy about a dad who gets a little confused about what it means to be a Super Dad, and who never quite manages to save the world, but does finally succeed in saving his own family.

The writer, based in Arizona, is receiving a lot of interest in this screenplay. Stay posted.

Another update to the site -- Radiant CMS

Another update to the site. Seeing how infrequently I created new articles/blog entries for the old site, it became evident that we needed a simpler solution. Effective today, the site has been converted to Radiant CMS, a super-easy-to-use publishing tool for the web. Now the pressure is on. I have no excuse not to make more frequent posts. Let’s see if I can keep up!

In the works

In the works . . . We’ve got several things in the works right now including:

a beautifully written guide to the Virgin Mary’s peace plan for the world, and

a young African-American journalist’s journey through the country interviewing the few surviving children of American slaves.

We’ve also taken on a few polishing jobs for screenplay treatments. Stand by for more.
